NAHB Members to Benefit from Online Career Center

Washington, DC, March 28, 2006 ---

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), in collaboration with ConstructionJobs.com, has launched a building industry-oriented career center that will provide members with a cost-effective recruiting solution that makes locating qualified candidates and advertising open positions faster and easier.

"NAHB recognizes the critical importance of our members securing a qualified workforce," said David Pressly, NAHB president and a home builder from Statesville, N.C. "This is why we are so pleased to offer members this competitive edge in such a tight job market."

NAHB members receive a 20 percent discount off of standard rates for job postings on the Construction Jobs Career Network and additional discounts off other human resources services. NAHB members may access the career center at www.nahb.org/careers. Once there, members are able to:

• Search candidates by job title and specific industry and save time screening for targeted candidates.
• Use candidate alerts to automatically search for specific candidates. Receive email notification when a match is found.
• Store and retrieve search results to avoid redundant future searches.
• Cross post to Americas Job Bank and the GoJobs Network of over 500 additional online career sites.
