We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee and execute infrastructure and earthwork projects with precision, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.

Position Overview:

The Construction Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising infrastructure and earthwork projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate has a strong background in heavy civil construction, site development, and large-scale excavation projects. This role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee infrastructure and earthwork projects, including grading, excavation, drainage, utilities, and road construction.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Supervise site development activities, including land clearing, foundation preparation, and structural support systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, territory, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, subcontractors, and government agencies to ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues that arise.
• Implement safety protocols and best practices, ensuring a secure work environment for all personnel.
• Prepare and present progress reports, budget forecasts, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
• Manage procurement and logistics for construction materials, equipment, and workforce needs.
• Utilize construction management software (such as Procore, AutoCAD, or Primavera P6) to track project progress and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on infrastructure, earthwork, or heavy civil projects.
• Strong understanding of grading, excavation, soil stabilization, drainage, and utility installation.
• Experience in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar).
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and environmental compliance in construction.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Construction Manager (CCM), PMP, OSHA 30/40-Hour Certification).
• Experience working in the Caribbean or similar coastal environments.
• Background in public infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities).
