The Director of Construction will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Client Details About the client: Headquarters in Springfield, MA Projects throughout Western MA, CT, throughout the East Coast & the nation 64+ Employees Specialize in Federal Construction projects from $500K - $40M, FEMA Diasaster Response, and Government Services Began operations in 1980 Description Lead and manage construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Oversee all projects, responsible for planning, successful execution, and financial performance Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders. Oversee the selection and management of contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and regulatory requirements throughout projects. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management. Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure design objectives are achieved. Foster a culture of quality, safety, and excellence within the construction team. Profile A successful Director of Construction should have: 10-15+ years of experience Experience in Federal/ Government Contracting ideal open to commercial background as well A proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects within the property industry. Strong leadership and team management abilities to guide diverse teams effectively. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
