About the Position


As the Shop and Fleet Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting field operations by ensuring assets—including facilities, vessels, equipment, and vehicles—are maintained at peak performance. This hands-on leadership position combines strategic oversight with practical, technical work in the shop and field. You'll lead a small but dedicated team of 2–4 personnel, manage maintenance operations via MTC Pro, and uphold high standards for safety, compliance, and quality.


This is more than just a maintenance job—it's a pivotal leadership role that directly supports project success, operational readiness, and customer satisfaction.


Requirements




  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.




  • Experience with marine diesel engines and commercial diving life support systems.




  • Familiarity with maintenance software (preferably MTC Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite.




  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.




  • Hands-on, field-ready mindset—this is not a desk-only position.




  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (OSHA, USCG, DOT, ADCI).




  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain TWIC or other port credentials.




  • Certifications in diesel mechanics, hydraulics, or marine systems.




  • 3+ years experience in marine maintenance, fleet/equipment operations, or diving industry support.




  • Experience managing diving life support systems (e.g., compressors, helmets, underwater video gear).



  • Experience with warehouse management
